The giant ice caves are among the biggest ice caves on earth. The high points of the one-hour guided tour are the Gralsburg Castle and the Ice Chapel. The giant ice caves comprise some 30,000 m³ ice. In many high sections, for instance in the Tristandom, the ice is 25m deep.

Mammoth Caves

Cave explorers are right at home in Dachstein's Mammoth Caves. On a length of 1 km cave exploration gives you an impression of life in the caves and reveals sections of the caves which are far beyond any of the guided tour  routes.
