A superb natural experience:
Right on Großglocknerstraße before the tollbooth more than 200 animals are found, on an area covering some 15 hectares. Walking time is around 1 hour. The trails are suitable for prams and wheelchairs. In the middle of the terrain there is a large pond which has lots of places to stop and take a breather and also a viewing tower.
Educational and illustrated charts provide information about the flora and fauna in the Alps. Just a few animal species which are found in the wildlife & leisure park: brown bears, bisons, raccoons, wood grouse, marmots, red deer and lots of petting animals.
