The Catholic St. Leonhard parish church was built in 1742. Inside the church is a Baroque column high altar.
(End of 19th century), located beneath the parish church; a popular pilgrimage destination. The special characteristic of the chapel are the dripstones from Lourdes and a Lourdes figurine.
In summer 2001 at the "Fallhausalm" in Forstau-Winkl four impressive wooden sculptures were created by the German sculptor and painter Roland Mayer. The figures named "Das Tor", "Der Wächter", "Der Stuhl" and "Der Lebensbaum" show that concepts such as Alpine pastures and modern art create only simulated contrasts. Every visitor should make their own mind up about the meaningfulness of these individual sculptures.
The toll-free Forstau-Winkl road takes you to Fallhausalm (around 11 km from the town centre). The Alpine lodge is one of the starting points for wonderful hikes in the Forstau-Winkl valley.
