The Fageralm

The wide and clear pistes on the Fageralm cast a spell over those who ski for pleasure and the traditional Alpine lodges invite you to stop-off and relax for a while. Hospitality and cosiness are still the order of the day here with us. In winter Forstau and the Fageralm are in the middle of the 'Ski Amadé' region.

An abundance of kilometres of pistes for your skiing holiday

More than 860 kilometres of pistes await in 5 regions: Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming – Dachstein Tauern, Gastein, Hochkönig´s Winter Realm and Großarltal. The Fageralm is just right for connoisseurs, families with children and Alpine lodge fans. 'Ski Amadé' is Austria's biggest ski association – with unlimited skiing pleasure!

Appealing – for children too

For children in particular there are lots of opportunities to have an adventure-filled day, ; for instance on the piste with animals in Fagerwald, the Indian trail, the Viking route, the Goliath giant swing, the time-measured route, the free telescope, the mogul training run and the snowboarder-cross route.

The local ski school doesn't just help beginners on their 'boards, which mean the world', they also help people who have some experience to perfect existing skills.
